Café do Cais

Bars and restaurants · by Cristina Guedes + Francisco Vieira de Campos · 1994

Portugal

A long, glazed riverside pavilion that feels like a temporary kiosk made permanent—lightweight, transparent, and open to the quay. When the doors slide back, the boundary dissolves and the café becomes a shaded terrace hovering just above the promenade.
