Caisse d'épargne La Seyne-Ville

Government & Civic · by Jean Parente · 1966

rue Chevalier-de-la-Barre, Seyne-sur-Mer (La), France

From the 1960s, the savings bank undertook a dynamic development policy aimed at presenting a modern and welcoming image, moving away from the austerity typically associated with financial institutions. In 1965, an architectural competition was launched for the Toulon agency, involving major local architectural firms. This pioneering initiative set a precedent for future real estate projects by the group, including the branch established in 1973 in Seyne-sur-Mer, designed by architect Jean Parente.
