Designed as a working machine for dance, the building stacks rehearsal spaces above a compact theatre so daily practice and public performance stay tightly linked. A dark, protective envelope helps dampen external noise and vibration, while controlled daylight keeps studios evenly lit. Circulation is choreographed too: you move from bright, utilitarian training rooms to a more compressed, atmospheric auditorium below. The architecture feels deliberately austere, letting bodies, rhythm, and sound become the main ornament.
