Carbonia (SU), Italy
Designed by Swiss architect Luigi Snozzi with Willi Hüsler and Sardinian collaborators and completed in 2011, this intermodal transport hub in Carbonia transforms the infrastructure of the former mining town into a modern transit center. The project reflects Snozzi's rigorous approach to public architecture and his belief in the transformative potential of infrastructure design, bringing an internationally recognized architectural voice to the post-industrial landscape of southwestern Sardinia.
