City of Arts

Culture · by Kengo Kuma · 2013

France

A riverside cultural complex that blurs old and new, using layered roofs and screens to filter light like a landscape element rather than a hard façade. The project stages constant transitions—city to water, interior to exterior—so visiting feels like moving through a carefully edited sequence of views and textures.
