The Jean-Jaurès Primary School, built in the Bourg district of Grand-Quevilly, was completed in 1937 to address the growing public infrastructure needs following World War I. Initiated by socialist mayor Tony Larue as part of a progressive public works program, the school accommodates around 500 boys and features 12 classrooms, each measuring 50 square meters with a ceiling height of 4 meters. It also includes a spacious 4,000 square meter courtyard and a medical service, reflecting the community's commitment to educational and health provisions for its youth.
