Edificio Expo

Collective housing · by Basilio Tobías Pintre · 2007

Zaragoza, Spain

A compact slab of apartments conceived for Zaragoza’s Expo-era housing boom, cut with deep loggias and terraces that turn the façade into a lived-in landscape. Shading, cross‑ventilation, and a deliberate rhythm of solids/voids make the building feel more like a small neighborhood stacked vertically than a single block.
