Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Sagesse
Religion · by Faloci Pierre-Louis · 1996
8 rue Abel-Gance, Paris 13e Arrondissement, France
The Notre-Dame-de-la-Sagesse chapel, designed by architect Pierre Faloci between 1996 and 2000 at the request of Monsignor Lustiger, is situated in the heart of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France district. It occupies a section of a garden designed by Michel Desvignes. The chapel's construction features a low volume of concrete clad in red brick, harmonizing with the garden's landscape. Its asymmetrical design includes traditional church components such as the entrance, nave, and choir, with a bell tower prominently positioned to the right of the entrance.
