Etablissement régional d'enseignement adapté

Health · by André Sogorb · 1953

Crotenay, France

The Regional Institution for Adapted Education, designed by architect André Sogorb, consists of eight buildings constructed in phases beginning in 1953, as the state integrated specialized schools into the National Improvement School. The first two buildings serve as the ENP's reception area. Building 3/4, known as "the pavilion," originally housed the director and some staff, similar to building 5. Building 6, completed in 1968, contains dormitories and classrooms. The structures are predominantly of white-painted concrete, alternating with masonry stone elements. Building 7, referred to as the "former workshop," features a concrete framework with a metal roof.
