Établissement scolaire de filles, actuellement collège Victor Duruy

Education · by Émile Maigrot · 1929

2 rue Ernest-Dagonet, Châlons-en-Champagne, France

The girls' school, currently known as Collège Victor Duruy, features a V-shaped layout for both the supplementary and primary courses. The ground floor houses classrooms in one wing and a covered playground in the other, while amphitheater-style rooms at their intersection provide spaces for teaching sewing and drawing in the supplementary course, and an office for the assistant principal in the primary course. A semi-circular forepart contains the concierge's lodge and apartment, positioned prominently at the entrance on Rue Dagonet, resembling a lookout point.
