Fudomae Apartment

Fudomae Apartment is a compact multi-family building in Tokyo by Issho Architects. The plan stacks small units while carving out open-air circulation and light wells to bring sun and ventilation into the interior. Slender structure and carefully placed openings balance privacy with brightness in a dense residential neighborhood. The project shows how micro-scale housing can still achieve spatial generosity through section and voids.
