34 boulevard de Juillet ; 1 rue Jean-Poulmarc'h ; 2 rue Louis-Barthou, Dreux, France

The city of Dreux experienced significant demographic and industrial growth between the World Wars, prompting the municipality to develop new neighborhoods. Mayor Maurice Viollette initiated the creation of the Rochelles district south of the railway station after World War I. This area is inspired by garden cities from England and the Île-de-France region, featuring a layout of semi-detached houses, a large public park, and a six-class public school. In 1931, the design for the school was entrusted to municipal architects Georges Beauniée and André Sarrut, who also designed the Dreux sanatorium, recognized as part of 20th-century heritage.
