The Headquarters of the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, designed by AMP arquitectos and completed in 2000, is located at Avenida José Manuel Guimerá 10, 38003 Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. The building integrates a reconstructed 18th-century courtyard, known as the Hamilton Patio, into its design. Constructed with basaltic stone and concrete, the structure features a wooden balcony inspired by traditional Canarian architecture. The project was awarded first prize in the 1986 international competition for the presidency building. (archilovers.com)
