Immeuble de bureaux Cransac
Commerce · by François Fontès, Gardia Serge · 1984
12 avenue d’Assas, Montpellier, France
The building at 12 Avenue d'Assas marks the early career of Montpellier architect François Fontès, known for his diverse projects. Commissioned by Jean-Paul Cransac, who owned the previous garage on the site, the new structure replaces it with commercial spaces, offices, and a duplex apartment on the top floor. The client granted the architect full creative freedom. As the project lies within the protection zone of the Arceaux aqueduct, it required special scrutiny from the architect of historic monuments in France.
