Kindergarten Arganda del Rey

Education · by Picado de Blas Arquitectos · 2006

Arganda, Spain

A kindergarten designed around protection and curiosity: sheltered outdoor play, legible circulation, and rooms scaled to children rather than to adults. Daylight is treated as a learning tool—soft, diffuse, and consistent—while durable materials keep the building calm under intense daily use. The plan encourages small discoveries: corners, thresholds, and outdoor links that let play spill naturally between inside and outside.
