Spain

A city-scale river transformation that turns former traffic infrastructure into continuous public parkland. Paths, planted zones, sports areas, and plazas form a long sequence of ‘rooms’ along the water, reconnecting neighborhoods previously separated by the river corridor. Its impact is urban and social: the river becomes a place to live in, not just pass over.
