House · by Desplat Jacques Bret · 1968
1 rue des Jacinthes, Trélissac, France
Jacques Bret, born in 1929 and a student of Beaudoin, designed his family home in the early 1970s on the site of a former quarry where he had previously established his architectural agency in 1968. Known for various projects in Périgueux, including social housing and public buildings, Bret collaborated with his father-in-law's company for the concrete work in this construction. The house reflects his architectural philosophy and personal vision, integrating his professional experience with familial connections. Bret passed away on November 11, 2021.
