The One Square Meter House, designed by Didier Fiuza Faustino in 2006, is a sculptural installation located at the intersection of Boulevard Masséna and Rue Émile-Levassor in Paris. This vertical totem comprises five stacked modules, each representing a 1-square-meter living space, including a kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Constructed from translucent fiberglass and resin, the piece stands 17 meters tall and 1 meter wide, serving as a commentary on urban housing and the integration of private spaces within the public realm.
