Résidence Le Palladium
Urban planning · by Labbé P., Nénot G. · 1929
2 boulevard Tzaréwitch ; 77bis boulevard Gambetta ; impasse Palladium, Nice, France
The Le Palladium building derives its name from a statue of Pallas Athena, attributed to César Chiavacci, located in the inner garden facing boulevard Tsarévitch. This residential building includes commercial spaces on the ground floor and is positioned near the Russian cathedral along one of the main north-south axes of downtown Nice (Gambetta), close to the railway station and bordering the railway tracks. At the time of its construction, the neighborhood was under development, although the close proximity to the railway diminished its appeal.
