14 rue Marius Chanteur, Dijon, France
In October 1973, the Dijon city council approved the financial plan for constructing a swimming pool at the western edge of the city in the Fontaine d'Ouche district, which had been inaugurated in 1968 and completed in 1972. The pool was built following the development of a shopping center, on a plot of 6,141 m² provided by the city. This project aims to integrate with the Urban Renewal Operation for the surrounding Grésilles neighborhood, focusing on creating a welcoming, non-institutional architecture that symbolizes the revitalization of a previously undervalued area.
