Collective housing · by Tegnestuen Vandkunsten · 2008

Denmark

Harbor-front housing that tames a big, wind‑swept setting by breaking it into ordered outdoor rooms. The plan creates calmer courtyards and edges, so residents get both shelter and long water views. Rather than one monolithic block, the massing and spacing make the project read as a small district with a strong sense of address. It feels robust and pragmatic, but still carefully composed for everyday life by the water.
