Japan
Tsunyuji Temple Renovation Project is a religious building in Japan designed by Satoru Hirota. A minimal concrete perimeter wall and new auxiliary spaces are inserted to support contemporary use while respecting the historic temple precinct. The renovation balances privacy and openness, creating a calm civic threshold from the street. The project was completed in 2014.
