Zink House

Collective housing · by Holsøe Arkitekter · 2008

Denmark

A residential block defined by its zinc skin—vertical strips and crisp openings give the facade depth without excess ornament. The courtyard plan creates a protected inner world, while the street edges keep a strong urban presence. Material choice does the heavy lifting: the cladding ages with a subdued patina that suits Copenhagen’s light. A solid urban apartment building with an elegant, weathered finish.
