The Gomez brothers are primarily known in Bayonne for their villas and shop renovations, but they also constructed two significant administrative buildings still in use today: the Maritime Registration Building on the Quai de Lesseps and the Customs and Bridges and Roads Building. In 1938, the Bridges and Roads services along with the Customs administration sought to establish a shared headquarters on the Allées Marines in Bayonne.
