Église de la Très-Sainte-Trinité
Religion · by Joseph Belmont, Jean Dick, François Chapuis · 1965
rue de Boston, Strasbourg, France
In the 1950s and 1960s, the city of Strasbourg negotiated the purchase of military lands in the Esplanade area, east of the historic center, to develop a new neighborhood covering over 50 hectares. Following this decision, the Archbishop of Alsace, Monseigneur Jean-Julien Weber, with his council's support, established a new parish dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The decree for the parish's creation was published on June 17, 1962, and took effect on September 1. The city acquired land at the intersection of rue de Boston and rue Tarade to build the church for this new neighborhood.
