route d'Argences, Saint-Pair, France
The church of Saint-Pair was rebuilt in 1958 by architect Pierre Auvray. It features an oval plan that combines the nave and choir into a single compact volume. The concrete structure is topped with a flat roof, while the bell tower stands separately a few meters away. The entire building is adorned with stone cladding, reflecting the town's mining heritage. Vertical slender windows run the full height of the church's façades, allowing natural light to enhance the interior space.
