Elysées La Défense
Office · by Saubot & Jullien · 1982
France
An office building that has evolved through successive updates as the La Défense district has matured. The original structure established a clear corporate frontage within a complex, multi‑level urban setting. Later refurbishments focused on bringing more light and transparency to workspaces while modernizing technical systems. From the public realm, the building participates in the layered landscape of terraces, bridges, and elevated streets typical of La Défense. It demonstrates how ‘ordinary’ office architecture in the district often becomes a long-term framework for adaptation.
