Immeuble de bureaux, siège social du Crédit Agricole
Commerce · by Marcel Cointe · 1974
290 rue Faventines, Valence, France
The Crédit Agricole building in Drôme was established in December 1904, initially located in the Society of Farmers' premises, later moving to 57 Avenue Victor Hugo. In the early 1970s, as it transitioned into a universal bank, the decision was made to construct a new headquarters. In 1971, the regional bank acquired land in the Faventines area. Following employee consultation favoring landscaped offices, architect Marcel Cointe was chosen to design the building. The construction permit was granted on March 7, 1973, with work commencing on January 2, 1974, allowing the bank to move into its new facilities in 1975.
