The Power Hall: The Andrew Law Gallery at the Manchester Science and Industry Museum underwent a comprehensive restoration completed in October 2025. Designed by Carmody Groarke, the project preserved the building's original timber roof structure and incorporated sustainable technologies, including a water-source heat pump and an electric boiler, aiming to reduce CO₂ emissions by 60% by 2030. The 2,500m² gallery now showcases the museum's collection of historic engines within a revitalized industrial setting. (carmodygroarke.com)
