"More or less a house - Alcalá 01" is a residential project completed in 2007 by lapanaderia. Arquitectura y Diseño in Alcalá de Guadaira, Spain. The development comprises eight apartments designed with flexibility, allowing residents to choose varying levels of finishes to suit their preferences and budgets. The building features ceramic lattice panels that filter sunlight and enhance privacy between neighbors. Each apartment includes private outdoor spaces, such as courtyards and terraces, promoting cross-ventilation and a connection between indoor and outdoor areas. The structure is constructed with metal beams and pillars, supporting a 29 cm thick clay block facade. The project was nominated for the EUmies Awards in 2009. (eumiesawards.com)
