A historic brick campus is extended with a contemporary volume that asserts a new identity without erasing the old one. The addition uses a smooth, kinetic skin—often read as a moving veil—to distinguish new lecture halls and shared spaces from the earlier building. Inside, academic life is organized around a mix of amphitheatres, auditoria, and informal learning zones, so circulation becomes a social engine. The project’s success lies in the contrast: heritage provides weight and memory, while the extension delivers brightness, flexibility, and a sense of momentum.
