Résidence de Talant

27-29, 31 rue de Talant, Dijon, France
The Résidence de Talant in Dijon, designed by architect Paul Joly-Delvalat starting in 1962, embodies the aspirations of a significant real estate project initiated by Parisian developer Fernand Loubeau, aimed at creating a substantial housing development near the city center. The selected site, an old park in a residential neighborhood, belonged to a friend of the architect. The design was completed in just one week, leading to the prompt submission of the building permit. The project comprises three distinct programmatic elements: collective housing, offices, and a single-family home, resulting in a composition of three differentiated building volumes.
