Residence for autistic people

Social welfare · by Air Architecture · 2011

France

This medically supported residence was designed to provide stability and dignity for its residents without falling into an institutional architectural language. The plan gives importance to calm shared spaces, clear orientation and a domestic scale that can support daily routine. Rather than overdesigning the environment, the project creates legibility, comfort and measured sensory conditions. Its quality lies in turning care architecture into something inhabitable, quiet and humane.
