Tour D2

Office · by Atelier Tom Sheehan & Partenaires · 2014

France

An ovoid high‑rise whose identity comes from its exposed steel ‘diagrid’ exoskeleton, making structure a visible façade. The external grid contributes significantly to stability while freeing interior floor plates for flexible office layouts. At street level, the tower’s rounded geometry softens the typical rectilinear skyline of La Défense. Environmental ambitions are addressed through material efficiency and high-performance building systems, aligned with French sustainability standards. The crown integrates a landscaped roof terrace—an elevated civic gesture in an otherwise corporate district—adding a rare outdoor commons for users.
