Tour Carpe Diem
Office · by Robert A.M. Stern · 2013
France
The tower’s identity comes from its carved form and layered facade, which breaks down a large office volume into readable facets. A dramatic internal winter garden and multi-level public spaces soften the corporate character, creating places to pause rather than simply pass through. Daylight and views are treated as performance features, with shifting perspectives as you move up through the building. The design emphasizes experience at the base as much as the skyline, turning the entrance into an event rather than a lobby.
