avenue Georges-Duval, Lisieux, France
The water tower in Lisieux, designed by architect Georges Duval in 1965, is located on the eastern side of the city. Constructed entirely of raw concrete, it features a half-sphere positioned upside down and supported by four concrete fin walls. At its center, a round pillar extends through the reservoir, rising up to emerge on the roof.
