Église paroissiale Saint-Martin

Religion · by Pierre Dupont, André Yves, Jean Barillet, Paul Bony · 1952

Manoir-sur-Seine (Le), France

The parish church of Manoir, primarily dating from the 16th century, was destroyed during an aerial bombing in 1944. Some furnishings, including a 15th-century lectern and several statues, survived the destruction. A new church was built with war damage compensation and private funding from Canada, located in a different site within a completely reconstructed neighborhood. The project was executed by the Yves André company based on designs by architect Pierre Dupont from Évreux. The church was blessed on October 5, 1952.
