84 rue de Verdun, Mulhouse, France
The Sacré-Cœur Church, located at 84 rue de Verdun in Mulhouse, France, is a prominent religious structure resulting from the post-war reconstruction efforts. Originally, a chapel was built between 1929 and 1930 in the Rebberg district, but it was severely damaged during a bombing in May 1944. In response, a new church was designed by architects André Le Donné and Michael Patout, constructed from 1956 to 1959, and consecrated in 1960. Its stained glass windows were created by Léon Zack and Janie Pichard in 1958, while the chapel's windows were crafted by Albert Gerrer in 1949.
