Église Saint-Pierre-et-Paul
Religion · by Pierre Pouradier-Duteuil, Georges Pillon, Paul Martineau · 1957
place de la Mairie, Bennwihr, France
The former church of Bennwihr was severely damaged by shelling during World War II. As a result, a decision was made to demolish the ruins and replace the structure with a new church. The project aimed to restore the community's spiritual center while addressing the needs of the present day. The new design reflects contemporary architectural principles while honoring the site’s historical significance.
