Résidence Origet
House · by Architurone · 1989
59 rue Origet, Tours, France
In the early 1980s, developer François Pillot and his company Art et Bat differentiated themselves in Tours with bold housing projects that contrasted sharply with the prevailing classical architecture. A building permit was submitted in June 1986 for a high-end residence in the upscale Prébendes district, located in central Tours. The innovative aesthetic of the project sparked controversy among residents, who were accustomed to the traditional bourgeois homes typical of the area, leading to delays in construction. Ultimately, the project was completed in 1989.
