Résidences Lamartine, Buffon et Bossuet du campus universitaire de Montmuzard

Education · by Barade Roger Martin · 1962

avenue Alain-Savary, Dijon, France

The Lamartine and Bossuet pavilions were inaugurated in 1959 during a conference of European university rectors and vice-chancellors. Construction of the third pavilion, Buffon, began in 1960 and was completed in 1961-1962. The initial plan by architect Roger Martin Barade aimed for the two pavilions to be situated behind the Unit for Training and Research in Sciences. However, due to concerns about their proximity raised by Rector Marcel Bouchard, a revised plan was proposed, resulting in their current placement.
