Ycone

A 53-meter mixed-use residential tower in Lyon's Confluence district, shaped to engage in a visual dialogue with its immediate neighbors. The design was driven by the constraints of its predetermined footprint — rotated and shifted to find the right relationship with the surrounding blocks. The building combines social and market-rate housing with ground-floor retail.
