Église Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte
Religion · by Bernard Lulé · 1959
Laulne, France
In 1956, architect Bernard Lule reconstructed the Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte church in Laulne, utilizing concrete as the sole building material. The church features a large rectangular plan topped with a thin-shell concrete vaulted ceiling, encompassing both the nave and the chancel, complemented by a single south aisle. An independent bell tower is positioned to the north, adorned with concrete screens. This pattern of screens is also repeated on the north facade, providing asymmetrical lighting to the interior of the church.
