Lycee des Metriers Leonardo de Vinci

The reconstruction reshapes a large technical high school into a campus-like ensemble structured around a planted courtyard. New bridges and connective elements stitch together teaching blocks, making movement across the site feel like crossing a small piece of city. Façades combine robust materials with carefully placed glazing to keep workshops and learning spaces bright without exposing them fully. Social spaces—foyer, documentation centre, dining—are treated as civic interiors that help students inhabit the school beyond class hours. Rather than a single iconic object, the project’s strength is in how it organizes daily life through clear outdoor rooms and connective circulation.
