Lycée Jules-Viette
Education · by Pierre Lauga, Claude Brandon, François Solmon, Vigneron Marc · 1957
1B rue Pierre-Donzelot, Montbéliard, France
The construction of the Jules-Viette Technical High School took place from 1957 to 1960, designed by architect Pierre Lauga. This project reflects the post-war educational construction boom driven by demographic growth and the expansion of secondary education. The school is situated on an 8-hectare site, formerly agricultural land, to the south of Montbéliard's historic center. From the 1960s until the late 1990s, the high school underwent multiple expansions to accommodate increasing educational demands.
