Parc André Citroën
Landscape · by Jean-Paul Viguier S.A. d'Architecture, Berger & Anziutti · 1992
France
Spread across a large former industrial site on the Seine, the park combines expansive lawns with highly designed sequences such as themed gardens, water features and the monumental greenhouses. Its layout oscillates between openness and strong geometric framing, giving visitors both freedom of use and moments of precise staging. The design makes leisure, horticultural display and urban spectacle coexist within one coherent landscape. It remains one of the most ambitious examples of late-20th-century metropolitan park-making in Paris.
