place Hubert Renaud ; carrefour de Ham, Cergy, France

In the heart of the Oise loop near Cergy, the agricultural meander features gravel pits filled with water since 1971. The amphitheater-like slope opens to the southwest, bordered to the north by the beginnings of the new town and to the south by the heights of the Hautil forest. It provides a view of Paris and much of the Île-de-France landscape. Urban planner Marcel Bajard began studying the Puiseux district in 1974, which had previously been kept in reserve.
