Ecole élementaire La chanterelle
Education · by Mottini Patrice · 1985
2 rue de la Chanterelle, Cergy, France
The site in the northwest of the Puiseux district is located near the housing complex of the square de l’Échiquier, designed by architect Fernando Montes in 1981, characterized by its neo-Palladian style with regulatory layout. The larger urban ensemble, known as "Saint-Christophe," reflects the evolving architectural concepts in the development of the new town since the 1980s. The train station was operational by 1985, and a land reserve was established to the north of the school site for the railway extension to the Cergy-Le-Haut station, completed ten years later, although the tracks did not extend to Vauréal as initially planned.
